Nebraskans hold elections for half of the 49 legislative seats every two years by rotating out odd and even districts. In 2024, the odd number districts will be up for elections.

Request a Mail-In Ballot
You can start requesting a ballot 120 days before any election. You must submit your application to have a ballot mailed to you by the close of business on the second Friday before the election. If you have any questions please contact your county election official.

Find a Ballot Drop Box
Each drop box shall be opened no later than the sixth Friday prior to any statewide primary or general election and no later than the fourth Friday prior to any special election. All counties in Nebraska currently maintain at least one secure ballot drop box.
